Father's Son - Miracles of Quiapo by Ingming Aberia

About Us

Our mission

IngmingAberia.com aims to plant the seeds of hope for a better world through its readers. It lobbies for social equity and respect for human rights, promoting their God-given dignity and birthrights.

It does not intend to offend anyone, but where there is inequity, it shall seek a position where it can help move people to shake up the status quo. But so as not to be carried away by the naked lure of radicalism, its frame of thought is guided by the teachings of the Catholic faith, especially by her social doctrine as outlined by, among other things, the encyclicals.

IngmingAberia.com is a self-censored blog. Although we can assure the readers that due diligence and exhaustive fact checking go into each content it publishes, errors cannot be totally discounted. Feedback from readers are welcome and will always be appreciated. Ingming Aberia serves as the site admin.

About Ingming Aberia

Hermilando “Ingming” Duque Aberia is a social development worker by training and profession. In that role, he joined organizations (both government and non-government) that assisted poor communities in their struggle for equitable access to public goods and services and economic opportunities. He engaged communities in processes that helped them become more aware of interlinked issues that impacted their lives, and to harness that awareness into an increased capacity to engage with government and development partners to address their development needs. Associated with his mission to be of service to poor and underprivileged communities is a string of employment and consultancy "gigs" with several international organizations such as the United Nations Development Program, International Labor Organization and Asian Development Bank. He currently works for an assignment at the Asian Development Bank as National Governance Consultant.

He holds a master’s degree in Development Management from the Makati-based Asian Institute of Management.
